Editorial UPB TAS Edición Nro. 1, Año 1: Welcome to our blog!
The UPB
Trade Analysis Series is an initiative by Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana’s International
Business students.
In the “Regional
and Multilateral Agreements” course of our program, we analyze the global trade
trends and international tariff structures of key products exported by
Colombia.
We use
top-quality market analysis tools such as ITC’s Trade Map and Market Analysis
Map as well as the Observatory of Economic Complexity. These tools are based on
the UN’s COMTRADE database, which offers international trade information
classified according to World Customs Organization’s product-specific Harmonized
System. In this blog we turn our analysis into user-friendly and easy-to-read
slides available to all.
Our goal is
to support Colombian exporters, national and international investors and the
Colombian government in their understanding of global markets. We hope our work
helps identify worthy opportunities for our exporters and contributes to
increase the presence of Colombia’s exports in the world.
Thank you
for visiting our blog!
